2010 WORLD DAY OF PRAYER (MARCH 5TH):  The World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of women of prayer each year on the first Friday in March. Each year a different country serves as the writer of the WDP worship service. Through WDP, women affirm that prayer and action are inseparable and that both have immeasurable influence in the world. Women are encouraged to boldly go forth in their worship through song and spirit, and "Let everything that has breath praise God." Please join the women of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday, March 5th at 1:30 p.m., Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, South Sixth St. & Lawrence Ave., Springfield, IL.
